Krav Maga (the official fighting system of the Israeli Defence Force, translates as ‘close combat’ in English), is a practical and tactical system which teaches how to prevent, deal and overcome all kinds of violence and attacks - simulating the stress of a real attack without compromising your safety.
Our classes are designed to be easy to learn and retain, and follow a grading system for people who wish to monitor their progress. However, it’s also created to be fun and ensure that your fitness and endurance levels will improve, as well as your flexibility and co-ordination.
Class content includes;
defences against all manner of attacks and threats performed to all targets, at varying distances, ranges, heights, angles, directions and rhythms
defence against unarmed attacks: punches, strikes and kicks
releases from all sorts of grabs and holds including chokes, strangles, headlocks and bear hugs and defences against armed attacks and threats of various weapons
striking effectively and powerfully using hand and feet combinations to enable decisive counter attacks including striking with elbows, knees, head butts etc.
dealing with the above considering all possible scenarios and single or multiple attackers.
Krav Maga is every Saturday @3.15pm.
